Norman Rockwell at Sears
We tried to get our pictures taken two days after arriving. Don't ever try to take three kids under four to have their pictures taken when they're trying to get over an 8-hour time difference. You might end up with your picture on the front of the Saturday Evening Post, which is where this one belongs.

I love it!!!
Ah, memories.
When I think of that day, the words 'kittens' and 'herding' come to mind.
AND AFTER OVER A SOLID FREAKIN' HOUR OF THAT, I TAKE THEM TO THE CAR WITH KATIE, LEAVING YOU TO HAVE A WANDER AROUND THE TYPICALLY GARGANTUAN MALL, ONLY TO HAVE KATIE ANNOUNCE, JUST AS WE GET TO THE CAR... 'Oh dear, I think Greta has the keys'.
Joy.
Oh, Greta ... I feel your pain!
A couple of years ago, I tried to get a photo with Lizzy and her then-three (now five) cousins. It was impossible. There was no way they were all going to be smiling, or really even looking at the camera, at the same time. And it helps to have a Sears employee who knows what the heck they're doing, doesn't it ...
I admire your bravery in the attempt.
